The new MMC sits next to the Listed Old School House and the main drive.  The existing theatre was a very dominant  form with poor access and visitor facilities.  The new scheme wraps a large foyer and music teaching and rehearsal facilities around the auditorium and creates a new landscape connecting it to the main house and visitor approach.  An amphitheatre for outdoor performance was also included.
