A new classroom building, sports facilities and dining hall tightly frame the softly planted Quad.  Where cars once parked on tarmac, pupils now enjoy the sunshine and the scented plants, choosing active informal sports, socialising or simply walking around an attractive and purpose-built space.

The new classroom building is flooded with natural light and fresh air and the views of the gardens set a calm tone for lessons.

The key to achieving all of this was a combined architectural and landscape masterplan which removed the need for vehicles to come into the heart of the school.
